The Clayton Valley Garden Club organized in 1997 after tour guests of the Clayton Historical Society Gardens Tour expressed an interest in forming a club to meet others who enjoyed gardening as a hobby.

 

Activities that Members of the club enjoy include:

  • Civic gardening projects
  • Acting as docents for the Clayton Gardens Tour
  • Field trips to famous gardens (Filoli, Bancroft)
  • Nursery tours
  • Plant sales
  • Building birdhouses
  • Garden décor ideas
  • Participation in parades
  • Social gatherings
